We have the pleasure to send you here below the press link to the latest BOVET novelty, the LIMITED EDITION CAMBIANO presented at the 82nd Geneva Motor Show which took place in March 2012. At this event the Turin firm, Pininfarina, has presented the first concept car entirely designed and produced in-house. It is a luxurious, electrically-powered sport sedan incorporating the design and quality of finish that have underpinned Pininfarina’s reputation for 82 years. This prestige vehicle has been named Cambiano in a reference to the town where Pininfarina has its offices and production base, but also to the Chronograph Cambiano developed and manufactured by BOVET. This year the collaboration between the two legendary houses intensifies and takes a new direction, since this concept car receives a special edition Chronograph Cambiano as its clock.

It is a very exciting time for the brand as National Geographic’s first Pristine Seas Expedition with Blancpain is currently under way. Enric Sala and his team are exploring one of the most remote areas of the oceans, aboard the M/V Claymore II.

For the first time ever, Facebook Live will be hosting this week’s interview not from National Geographic Headquarters in Washington, D.C., but from the remote Pitcairn Islands nestled in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Miles from any other inhabited island, Explorer-in-Residence, Enric Sala will join us by satellite phone to give an update on a month-long expedition to Pitcairn and will reveal stunning photographs straight from the field of the island’s rich biodiversity.

Attached please find more information on the Blancpain & National Geographic partnership, the Pitcairn Island expedition, and also our X-Fathoms watch which Marc Hayek will be wearing during the drive.
