Geneva Seal's Very Own Hustled up the Hancock in Record Time

Chicago's favorite jeweler's, Leonard Goldberg and Rachel Leykind, were team Geneva Seal at the 2014 'Hustle Up the Hancock' stair climb this passed Sunday. Leonard's best friend and Rachel's hubby, Gene Lyekind, joined the dynamic duo the morning of the event (it's love).

The charity event raises funds for lung disease research, advocacy and education. Team Geneva Seal climbed from the ground to floor 94, that's 1,000-foot vertical climb up 1,632 stairs to the observation deck of the Hancock Center.

Leonard's training prepared him for the rigorous climb, finishing strong with a time of 17 minutes and 32 seconds. The average time to climb the 94 floors takes 26 minutes. Gene and Rachel also came through with some sweet times. Gene finished after 23 minutes and 59 seconds, while Rachel wasn't far behind, with a time of 30 minutes and 20 seconds.

We are so proud of Team Geneva Seal, and look forward to next year.
