Geneva Seal Fine Jewelry & Timepieces in Chicago took the weekend and Monday to think about the winner of our second Facebook Valentine's Day contest. We asked men, in 25 words or less, express to the world (the world of Facebook) what you love about your valentine to win you and your love a gift from Geneva Seal Fine Jewelry & Timepieces. We also asked for a special photo of the two of you for extra points.
Well, the decision making process was a lot harder than we thought. Chicago's favorite jeweler, Leonard Goldberg, asked the entire Geneva Seal family to get involved. We spent days talking about every single post. We had many people share our contest so we went through all of the comments in order for us to pick our winner.
Many of the men wrote the sweetest little love notes, the pictures were as romantic as ever and the contest tugged at our heart strings. Men, we must say, you may not be as romantic as your lady loves, but the effort sure was cute. Since we couldn't decide between two very awe-we-love-that posts, Geneva Seal Fine Jewelry & Timepieces has chosen TWO winners. We will be giving away 4 gifts to show how much we love YOU for taking the time out and writing your heart out for us.
Without further ado, our winners are (drum roll please)...
We loved Matt's words, "Being silly with each other one minute and sweet the next.. Enjoying movie night at home as much as a fancy dinner downtown." Matt made our hearts swoon and we could tell this couple enjoys the little things in life and we appreciate a love like that.
Our second winner is a couple Leonard explained to the Geneva Seal family as "always sweet like that" and so we couldn't stop thinking about them. We love that David calls his wife "Cakey" and him using his last name Gupta to express the bond between him and his wife sent us over the edge. They will forever be tied together, or as David says "Guptied" (how clever).
Thank you to all who participated. We had so much fun and hope we spread a little Valentine love all over your Facebook. Winners: please contact Leonard Goldberg via his Facebook page or call him at 312.944.3100 to set up a time for you to pick up your prizes. Thanks again.
