In Honor of the Chicago Blackhawks

Congratulations to our very own Chicago Blackhawks for making it to the Western Conference Final after beating the Minnesota Wild in a 2-1 overtime thriller on Tuesday night. And just like that, Minnesota goes back to being an irrelevant state in America. In honor of our hard working players, we'd like to honor them by featuring some of their favorite Geneva Seal timepieces. A team favorite is no other than Roger Dubuis, the only manufacture to be 100% Poincon de Geneve. These Roger Dubuis timepieces are handcrafted to perfection, and to be loved by the Chicago Blackhawks is definitely an added bonus.

This Sunday, Join the Geneva Seal Team 'Hustle Up the Hancock'

Sunday, April 13th 2014, marks the 17th annual charity event, Hustle Up the Hancock. Over 4,000 people from Chicago and those visiting our windy city, will meet at the John Hancock Center at 7am to begin their climb. Participants choose from two climbing categories--full climb (94 floors) or half climb (52 floors).

Geneva Seal's very own jewelers, Leonard Goldberg and Rachel Leykind will Hustle Up 94 floors in hopes of raising over $1 Million dollars for local lung disease research and programs.

Since 1998, the race has raised roughly $10 million for the Respiratory Health Association, which funds Chicago-area lung disease research, among other programs.

Goldberg's goal is to complete the climb in under 20 minutes, while Leykind is aiming toward a more realistic goal of, "as long as I finish". The average climber takes about 26 minutes to scale all 1,632 steps to the top.

The rest of the Geneva Seal team will meet them at the finish line to celebrate and to accessorize Goldberg with the timepiece he can't live without, his Roger Dubuis.

Lilly Ghalichi, Shahs of Sunset Star, Engaged. Will She Keep Her Huge Diamond?

After only 2 months of dating, 'Shahs of Sunset' star and entrepreneur, Lilly Ghalichi is engaged to marry Dhar Mann, who RadarOnline.com reported made his millions by peddling marijuana paraphernalia, despite facing legal issues (fraud related).

Mann, 29, proposed to the Middle Eastern beauty while vacationing in the Maldives. "Engaged!!!!!!!!!!" Ghalichi, 30, wrote on Tuesday, April 1, shocking her fans with a breathtaking photo of her massive rock.

Now, let's get to the bottom of that bling. Reports have suggested the pear shaped diamond engagement ring to be between 12-15 carats, split shank design, a platinum setting with a halo of pave diamonds around it. Our very own jeweler, Leonard Goldberg, would quote a similar piece, custom made, between $1-2.5 Million depending on the quality of the diamond.

Ghalichi, with a net worth of $2.5 Million, isn't sure she wants to keep the ring. E! Online spoke with the Persian Barbie, she said, "The only thing is, now I'm not sure that's the ring I want! It's so big—where am I going to wear something like that?"

Oh darling, with a stunning engagement ring like that like that, you could walk around naked.
