Roger Dubuis

Very rarely in the world of Haute Horology is a true watch legend not just relegated to the pages of history.  Most venerable names have histories dating back hundreds of years or more. Manufacture Roger Dubuis has the rare pleasure of being founded by two rock stars of the watch world, Roger Dubuis and Carlos Diaz, whose combined passion have given birth to a venerable brand that have caused the old houses to take note.

Diaz was already a renowned collector when he was introduced to Dubuis, who had made his name restoring timepieces that were thought to be beyond repair.  Dubuis' expertise in the arena of restoration had elevated his work to the point that he was being contracted to create solutions to major problems for the major watch brands.  Combining Dubuis' mechanical aptitude with Diaz's keen sense of style from years of work in the textile world only seemed natural.

Founded in 1995 as SOGEM SA and eventually taking the name Manufacture Roger Dubuis in 1999, the limited edition pieces that these men created together created a stir in the once stuffy watch world

With the unmistakable Sympathie case, and production of each design limited so as to never cause a collector the embarrassment of finding his very watch on another's wrist, Roger Dubuis timepieces are pure expressions of individuality and style.

Beyond being just another pretty face, all Dubuis timepieces are manufactured wholly in house, including essential components such as balance springs and balances.  Attesting to the craftsmanship of their work is the Pincoin de Geneve, the famous Geneva Seal, which all Dubuis timepieces proudly wear.
